The Nearby tab in the Genbook app (available for iPhone and Android) is all about promoting your business in your local community. Nearby helps locals find your business with just one tap! And, if you’re running Offers or using Last Minute Bookings, your business gets highlighted to help stand out from the competition.
How Nearby works
Genbook displays your business in the Nearby tab to all customers within 3 miles of your location. Customers can quickly browse through the map by clicking the pinpoints or by swiping through the profile cards, and also widen or narrow their searches by pinching to zoom in or out. That means dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of potential new customers can more easily find and book your services.
Maximize your exposure with Last Minute Bookings
If your business has Last Minute Bookings enabled, you’ll get even more out of Nearby (and Search too!). Genbook promotes your Last Minute Bookings in the Nearby and Search tabs as follows:
1. Your business name is highlighted in green in the list view of the Nearby and Search tabs.
2. Your location pinpoint on the Map view is a larger green circle with an offer icon in the center.
3. Your business is listed in the “Businesses with Special Offers” section, accessed via the offer icon in the Search and Nearby tabs.
4. Genbook lists your business in the Favorites tab of ALL nearby customers, whether they’ve visited your business or not.
Last Minute Bookings are both great ways to stand out from the competition and attract new customers.
