Genbook integrates with two powerful payment processors to make taking online payments seamless and straightforward for you and your clients. Turning on Payments with Stripe

1. In Genbook Web, first, click Settings at the top right.

2. Choose "Payments" from the Scheduling menu

3. Click the "Connect to Stripe" button under the Stripe option.

4. If you already have a Stripe account, click "Sign in" at the top right of the form.

Otherwise, fill in the required fields and click the "Authorize access to this account" button at the bottom.

6. Make sure the box beside "Enable Payments" is checked on your Payments screen.

Nice work — you've just turned on the Payments feature and linked it with Stripe! 🎉

Disconnecting your previous payment processor


1. Click Settings at the top right.

2. Choose "Payments" from the Scheduling menu

3. At the top of the screen, click the red "Disconnect" button

🤓 Pro tip: The checkout for any appointments where a transaction was started or made using Square has to be completed using Square (even if you've since switched to Stripe). It's not possible to hand over a Square-transacted appointment to Stripe (or vice versa).
