Start by clicking in the blank space of any time slot (not on any of the words at the bottom of the slot) or click the + sign

The 3 main components of an appointment are the Customer, Service and the Date & Time

1. Add your client

To book an existing client, start typing their name, then select them from the auto-fill options. 

To book a NEW client, click +Add customer

Enter the client's name and contact info and hit Save to create the customer profile and continue making the appointment. 

2. Select a service from the Service dropdown. You can also begin typing in a service name to filter to matching services.

Cost and Duration are auto-filled based on the service's settings. 

3. Choose the date and time from the drop-down menus. 

Pro-tip: To schedule at a time that isn't displayed in the dropdown, just click and erase what's there, and type the time. 

4. Check the details of the appointment and hit the Save button at the bottom right. 

Your new appointment should appear on the calendar. 🎉

From iPhone

1. Tap the plus symbol (+) at the bottom center to open the appointment form.
or
2. Press (tap and hold) on a time slot in your calendar, then tap "+ New" 

3. Tap "Service".
4. Select the service you wish to book. 

5. Tap "Start" to edit the appointment time.
6. Next, either drag the appointment outline up/down as needed
OR
Tap "-/+ 5 minutes" to move the appointment to the correct time in your calendar. Tap "Done" at the top right when the appointment is where you want it. 

7. Add your client.  

To add an existing client:

  • Tap Customer
  • Pull down from the top of the screen to start searching for the client's name.
  • Select the matching client from the list.  

To add a new client:

  • Tap Customers
  • Tap New at the top right  
  • Enter the client's details and tap Save

8. Finally, tap Save at the top right once you've looked over your appointment details.

Genbook Manager (Android)

1. Tap the plus symbol (+) at the bottom right to open the appointment form, or press and hold on the time slot where you want to make the booking and choose 'New'

2. Tap on "Service"
3. Select a service to assign to the booking


4. Tap "Start" to edit the appointment time
5. Next, either drag the appointment outline up or down as needed, OR tap "-/+ 5 minutes" to move the appointment to the correct time in your calendar. Tap the check mark (✅) at the top right when the appointment is where you want it.

7. Add your customer 

To add an existing client:

  1. Tap on "Customer"
  2. Tap "Look up existing customer"

3. Start searching for the client's name.
4. Choose the client you want to book from the list then tap on the check to confirm

To add a new client:

  1. Tap on Customers
  2. Enter the client's details then tap the check ✅ at the top right

8. Look over your appointment details and tap ✅ to save it.
9. The booking will be confirmed and tapping OK will return to your calendar.
