Genbook is pleased to offer the first of our features to expand the ways in which you can use your data in Genbook to communicate effectively with your clients!

To start, you can download client data using different filters and use this data for campaigns outside of Genbook. An example of this would be to send emails to your clients that have not booked you in the last 3 months, to rebook you using a third-party email tool like MailChimp.

Appointments at any location

You can run a report of anyone who has booked at any location or a specific location.

When "Download" is selected you can see how many customers meet the criteria selected in the top right green notification bar and you will be notified via email when the data is ready for download.

Once notified via email, the files are available for download for seven days.

Appointments at any location with any staff for any service within a time period

You can run a report of your customer based on past or future appointments.

This works from the appointment creation date rather than the appointment date. It allows you to segment customers who booked with a time period rather than those that have a booking.

Any client who’s last appointment at any location with any staff for any service at least time period ago

This is perfect for messaging clients that are slipping away or are due for their next appointment.

Its ideal for targeting customers with a ‘we miss you’ email or a ‘time for your next appointment message’

Any client who’s first appointment at any location with any staff for any service was time period ago

This rule allows Genbookers to run a report of clients that are new to your business, a location, a service or a staff member.

Typical use cases for this rule are:

  • Send a thank you for becoming a new client
  • Send a followup message after a specific service - It could be tips after your first tan, or what not to do after you’ve had your hair coloured.

Any client who has booked at any location and has a birthday in the next time period

This rule allows Genbookers to send a birthday message to anyone that’s made a booking with the business. The segment can be refined to be location specific.

Any client who had 10 appointments at any location with any staff for any service within time period

This enables the business to reach out to loyal clients with offers or promotions.

This rule could also be used to drive clients to a loyalty milestone. If a business chose to reward customers on their 6th visit it could be used to identify all clients who completed 5 bookings and encourage them to book their next visit to be rewarded.

This rule is perfect for reaching out to customers that recently cancelled an appointment and encourage them to rebook their appointment.

  1. Go to Settings and choose Comms
  2. Tap Export Customers

3. Choose the report you wish to run
